Hello! I'm Andrew, and I've been part of the St. Cloud Subaru team for about seven years. Subaru has been in my family for years; growing up in NW, Iowa, they were rare to come across, but my aunt and uncle always had them, and my father bought a 1982 Subaru GL wagon that we had for a few years. That car got me truly fascinated with vehicles, especially the weird, odd, old, and uncommon cars. I truly love my job and what I do because I can be myself here. I believe in our brand and products and can speak confidently about them without "sugarcoating" because I can confidently stand behind the vehicles. I love helping customers figure out what lifestyle accessories will best fit their car, needs, lifestyles, and hobbies. Speaking of hobbies, I have all too many of them. I am a member of The Casserollers Moped Army gang, it might sound silly, but it is a national association of vintage moped enthusiasts. I have several TOMOS model mopeds, a Yugoslavian/Slovenian brand selling new bikes as recently as 2019! I also have several "shifty 50s," we call them 50cc shifter motorcycles. I have rebuilt most of them top to bottom and brought the frame of one into my apartment room to hand polish and wax every nook and cranny and rewire it. It's been a very fulfilling community to be a part of and has brought me to many cities/places I might never have visited without them. I love cars as well, of course. I have a 1990 Mazda NA6 Miata and a 1994 Volvo 850 Sports Wagon, and I have had nearly a dozen other old Volvos over the years. With the cars, too, I collect and restore Hotwheels/Matchbox cars, build model cars, and race slot cars. I also enjoy cross-country skiing, camping, antiquing, flea markets, gaming, and learning. Overall, I'm the genuine "go-to guy" at the dealership, and I wouldn't change anything about it!
